This policy explains how StoryForge AI (https://www.yourdomain.shop) handles your information. Using the service means you understand what follows.
What we collect
Account: you sign in with Clerk (for example Google). We store your Clerk user ID and basic profile data such as email from the login provider. Works: stories and books you generate, edit, or export (titles, text, chapters, cover thumbs, tags) live in our database, tied to your account. Payments: when you buy credits or subscribe via PayPal we store order IDs, plan, and fulfillment status so we can grant credits and avoid double-charging. We do not store full card numbers. Usage: credit balance, check-ins, referrals, and operational logs such as generation errors (which may go to Sentry).
How we use it
We use it to provide sign-in, generation, books, export, credits, and subscriptions; to keep the service stable and safe (rate limits, debugging); and to complete payments you start. We do not sell your works or email lists.
Processors
Clerk (auth), Supabase (data), PayPal (payments), DeepSeek (text generation from your prompts), Vercel (hosting), optional Upstash / QStash (rate limits and book jobs), and Sentry (errors). They process data only as needed to run this product.
Retention and deletion
Works and credits are kept while your account exists. You can delete works in the product (including trash). To delete the whole account, contact us after signing in; we will delete or anonymize data tied to that Clerk user ID, except payment records we must keep by law.
Cookies and local storage
Clerk cookies keep you signed in. The browser may also store language, theme, reading progress, and cover cache for your device only.
